Peter de Mets


Peter de Mets is a composer, conductor, and tenor soloist. He is currently the tenor section leader at Morrisville Presbyterian Church and also performer with Vox Ama Deus, Voces Novae et Antique and the Yavneh Ensemble. As a composer, Peter’s works have been performed at the National Cathedral, the White House and throughout the United States. His choral fanfare, “One World One Dream,” was performed in Beijing, Shanghai and The Forbidden City in China as part of the 2008 Olympic Celebrations. Peter is the Repertoire and Standards Chair of the American Choral Director’s Association’s Pennsylvania Chapter as well as a teaching artist at Mercer County Performing Arts High School and an adjunct faculty member at Mercer County College. Recently, Peter was honored to receive the “Young Alumni Award for Achievement” from his alma mater, Susquehanna University.
